Find of the Year

Dear Diary,

A little girl left this gem at T-Mobile.

Jackpot.

Love,

Deek

Fast & Furious

Nini saw Fast & Furious and was so inspired by its deep message and inspiring storyline that she lowered her car. Instead of using lowering springs she just decided to use a gratuitous amount of beverages from CostCo. Same effect....

Ok, I know I know, it has been over a year since I last posted but hey Im doing it now. A lot has happened since we last posted. My oldest sister and her family just moved to LA so hopefully we will be able to visit them soon. My brother and his wife are expecting their 3rd bebe, and my other sis just got married. So our summer has gone by way to fast to say the least. Me and Deek just celebrated our one year anniversary a couple weeks ago. It has truly been the best year of my life. Im so grateful that I get to spend everyday with my best friend. I love him so much it should be illegal. Anyway, so for that weekend we went to Tiburon for dinner, FYI the best restaurant EVER, we sat on their patio while this guy played the guitar and sang, he was so good. The next day we went up to Deeks family cabin with his mom and Barry and floated down the river and played some cards, of course. Then went to dinner with his dad, Kristal, Ambrie and Fletch, the we went up to the Alaskan Inn. Seriously the best weekend.
This summer we got to go on some way fun trips, we went to Zion with Deeks family, Bear Lake with my family a few times, the Uintas with our friends The Bells, and plenty of little day trips.
Deek still works at T-mobile, and I just got a job at Alvey Media Group, I'm just the receptionist but hey its a job, but i love it. So life is going better then we ever could have imagined, hopefully the next time I write wont be in a year.

Gettin Played

We went to the Sundance Theater to watch the play "Fantastiks" last
week. It was eventful to quite eventful. A flock of deerin grazes just
behind us in the field. Nicole "misplaced" my wallet. We didn't
realize until the end of the play when I realized that the
announcement for "Daniel Swep" to come to the concessions booth was
actually me... How they confused Daniel and Derrik, Ill never know. We
showed up a bit late so we had a pretty crappy viewing area. Then my
chair broke. Then I saw a satelittle and a shooting star. So that was
cool. Here is a pictorial of us with our hot cocoa that hit the spot.
Viva Sundance!

The "Skinner" turned 222 today. This is why Toyota is so legit. When
she turns 300 we're having a keggar at Avon!

Jesse and Marlene got us these romance novel fridge magnets as a
wedding gift.

We just got back from a family party and I hear Nicole giggling in the
kitchen. Behold her creation...

Directions

You can get to the reception from a few different roads. From either direction, there should be signs, balloons, and or clowns for you to follow. Mapquest also helps. Google maps isn't accurate, but Google is still awesome.

If you are coming from North Ogden:

Drive over the divide/pass and into the valley until you get to 3500 E. It is the only stop sign you will encounter as you stay on the road from North Ogden. Turn right at 3500 E. Follow the road for about 2 miles. The road will gradually turn to the left. Once the road is heading due East, the reception will be about 1/2 - 1 mile down the road on the left side. Look for the tall trees lining the driveway and the house set off the road.

If you are coming from Ogden:

Get on 12th street and head East. This road will take you directly up Ogden Canyon. Follow the signs to Wolf Mountain Ski Resort. Once out of the canyon you will see Pineview Dam. On the west side of the dam you want to take a left at UT-158. Stay left at the fork in the road. Turn left once you reach the 4-way stop. Follow this road for about 4 miles. Our house will be on the right side.

If you are coming from Mountain Green/UT-84:

Take the Mountain Green exit from the East or West, depending on where you are coming from. Follow the signs that direct you to Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. You will be directed to Trappers loop which takes you into the Valley. Once over Trappers Loop, turn left at UT-39 (900 E.) Turn right on UT-158 which is at the West end of the dam. Stay left at the fork in the road. Turn left once you reach the 4-way stop. Follow this road for about 4 miles. Our house will be on the right side.

Hopefully these directions help and we'll see you there!

Fuel

In-N-Out is awesome. If you say you don't like it you're a liar. You
just want to seem unique and different but when it comes down to it,
you're just a liar.

Too Hot For The Hot Tub

Getting High

The only thing we smoke is Salmon.

Boardwalk & Park Place

We just logged about 3 miles on the boardwalk. Best place to people
watch ever. Honorable mentions: card man, jugs, handstand skating old
man, the brazilians, greased up deaf girl, and many others who weren't
awesome enough to make the blog's honorable mention.

Homey doing the skateboard handstand was at least 65 years old making
the youngn's look bad.

Nate got to bust out his portugese on the brazilian hottie (mainly hot
because she was carrying a surfboard) and her family.

Also not to forget, we talked Miker into chatting up some hotties
earlier today on the beach. Yeah, they were 15. Awkward.

SPF 0

You may not be able to see in the pic but I have a twoface sunburn/tan
from falling asleep on the beach. Oops.

Bruticus Maximus

We jammed out at the baller version of the Flowrider on Mission Beach.
We chilled with our new friends Kami, Dex, and Chris, who manage
properties all over the world and want to hook us up next time we come
back so we can actually shower and have a place to sleep. We've been
making friends all weekend. Last night we got hooked up with a fire
pit, smores, hot dogs and condiments, birthday cake, and lighter
fluid. It's just how we do.

Spec Protec

Jared had a simple problem of his sweaty brows dripping sweat into his
badazz specs. This is his simple solution.

Everyone thought he was a terrorist.

Sun Protection

This is why you have someone else apply sunscreen to your back...

Yeah, and this is only from one day.

Rolling Comfort

It's like therolling massagers and Brookstone, except the whole bed
rolls...
